Saturday Lab Kids Workshop: Life Inside a Screen

Saturday, August 3 at 11:00 am

Inspired by our current exhibition “Stumbling Through the Uncanny Valley: Sculpture and Self in the Age of Computer Generated Imagery,” the upcoming session of the Saturday Lab Kids Workshop will focus on contemporary art and the digital imagery.

First, we will visit the exhibition and explore the works included, works created by various digital technologies such as virtual reality and 3D printing. Then we will move to the Shelter for Contemporary Art, in order to engage with practical activities during which we will get to know smartphone applications that enable the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology; finally, we will make some experiments with it and assemble photographs that contain digital and computer generated images.

Led by: Eden Bannet Ages: 6-10 Duration: 1 hour and a half Tickets: NIS 40 per child, NIS 32 for digital card holders Tickets required
