Saturday Lab Kids Workshop: Dismantled Music

Saturday, January 26 at 11 am

Inspired by “Melodies of Certain Damages (Opus 3)”, Naama Tsabar’s current exhibition at CCA. The upcoming Saturday Lab Kids Workshops will deal with sculpture and contemporary installation combining sound and music along with acts of destruction and decomposition.

First we will visit the artist’s experiential exhibition, which created a participatory floor installation made up of shattered guitars. The children will participate in the installation, play, investigate and perform the work which we will document in video. We will continue with hands-on activities at the Shelter for Contemporary Art, where we will discover artworks by other artists who create sculpture that combines music, sound, and destruction. Finally, we will move on to the concluding activity in the “Invention Lab,” where the children will produce collages, drawings and paintings of their own imaginary machines and sound installations.

Led by: Eden Bennett Ages: 6-10 Duration: 1 and a half hours Tickets: NIS 40 per child, NIS 32 for digitel card holders Tickets required
