Repetition

The exhibition explores the concept of repetition. It features a range of video works whose essence involves repetition. The classical cinematic means of repetition is the loop, where the last frame of a work connects to its first frame, and the film’s ending and beginning are intertwined. Other works display a different insistence on repetition where every viewing reopens the work to a new sphere of meaning.
