Monday 11.4 at 20:00
In the first part of his lecture Christoph Weber will focus on key-works that introduce his artistic practices as a conceptual sculptor. He interweaves political, historical and psychoanalytical discourses with sculptural methods and classic materials. His last solo show “loose concrete”, exhibited in Vienna in 2010, questioned concrete as a prime material of the 20th Century as well as Israel’s relation to this material. In the second part he will put those recent works up for discussion.
