Marinella Senatore on The School of Narrative Dance

Thursday, October 17, at 7 pm

On the occasion of the 15th edition of Giornata del Contemporaneo – Italian Contemporary Art, an annual event organized by AMACI, this year for the second time organized internationally, CCA Tel Aviv will host artist Marinella Senatore. Trained in music, fine arts and film, Senatore is a multi-disciplinary artist and her practice is characterized by a strong collective and participatory dimension. On this occasion, the artist will speak about her ongoing project The School of Narrative Dance, a nomadic, free of charge school focused on non-hierarchical learning and emancipation she initiated in 2013. The multidisciplinary school, conceived as alternative training ground, is characterized by free workshops engaging local groups and by public energetic, soulful processions, where the artist and participants together orchestrate narratives, tracing new connection between contemporary relations.

The event will be held in English and is supported by Istituto Italiano di Cultura Tel Aviv.

Free Entrance Seating is limited, please register by sending an email to office@cca.org.il
