It’s alive! Is a new series of live art events in the Center for Contemporary Art. The multidisciplinary events will provide an experimental artistic arena and a social gathering place.

Ohad Fishof- A Lecture About Architecture
Performance, with the collaboration of the Israel Architecture Archive, aprox 30 min
Ohad Fishof is an artist and musician, working in a diverse range of fields including sound, dance, video, performance, and installation. Fishof began his artistic career as a musician with the Art-Pop band Nosei Hamigbaat. He is also a long-term collaborator of Batsheva Dance Company. In recent years Fishof has participated in many exhibitions, as well as designed soundtracks for various dance pieces, in Israel and abroad.

Project Glamorous is the fifth part in the series – ” Executives” – A cluster of short videos that follow the increasing success of a tycoon duo and their secretary, as they climbe their way up high in the real estate chain. This time, they visit a construction site for their next prestigious project, but a horrible accident changes their plans…
Roy Menahem Markovich works mainly with video art, he participated in many exhibitions, among them in the Tate Modern – London , Museum of Contemporary Art -Barcelona, The Israel Museum of Art, Jerusalem, Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, ARTTLV 2008. He participated in video, cinema and music festivals in Barcelona, New York, Torino, Moscow, Thessaloniki and others.
Tzion Abraham Hazan, Rational Syncing
Tzion Abraham Hazan’s video-performance is a manipulation of speeches of Tel Aviv’s mayor, Ron Huldai. The speeches that deal with various local political issues are collected from documentations of city council meetings, which were uploaded to YouTube. Wearing a self designed mask, the anonymous hacker- hero activates the politician like a puppet on a string, although at times it is unclear who is manipulating whom.
Tzion is a 4th year student at Hamidrasha school of Art, Beit Berl College. Recently he exhibited works in Shift Festival for electronic arts in Basel, in the Israeli institute for Digital Art in Holon, and in Museo Laboratorio di Arte Contemporanea, Universit’a Sapienza di Roma.
Neta Weiner and Yonatan Kunda- Guided Tour
A guided tour among childhood alleyways and hidden architectural jams, between picturesque streets and historic junctions. Together we will sail from the realms of nostalgia towards the crumbling future. We shall end with a collective dipping into the obis of our subconscious, with a beautiful view of the sunset.

Yonatan Kunda and Neta Weiner are actors, musicians and poets. They are founder- members of the Jaffa hip hop group System Ali, and of the art collective “Zemer- Plugot”. They performed with SPOKENWORD works on numerous stages, street corners and festivals. Raz Weiner is a director and actor, a member of “Zemer- Plugot” and the “Mystery Theatre” group. Since 2004 the three of them develop and guide political- historical tours in Jaffa and in the South of Tel Aviv.
