As part of “Keren Cytter: Sponsored Content” CCA Tel Aviv invited guests to give commentary about the artist’s videos. Borrowing the format of the so-called “Cineforum” – debate or discussion accompanying the release of a film – Dan Shadur will give insights about Cytter’s video New Age (2007). The video was shot in The Netherlands and it transforms Cytter’s childhood memories, conversations and roadblocks from the city of Ariel in Israel to the Dutch landscape. Documentary filmmaker, editor and writer Dan Shadur studied at the Tel Aviv University Film and Television Department. His films King Bibi (2018) and Before the Revolution (2013) were screened during international film festivals, broadcasted in TV channels all over the world, and were reviewed by New York Times magazine, Washington Post, Der Spiegel among others. Apart from his work in the field of cinema, Shadur has written articles and short stories in major Israeli newspapers.
