Artist talk by Chourouk Hriech

Monday, April 2 at 8 pm

Artist Chourouk Hriech (*1977, Bourg en Bresse, France; lives and works in Marseille) is visiting on the occasion of the group exhibition “KEDEM–KODEM–KADIMA” in which she is participating with a new work, a site-specific wall drawing installation specially created for this occasion. Fascinated by Tel Aviv and its Bauhaus and International Style buildings – but also by its balconies, palm trees, windows and antennas – the artist will share insights about her practice and about her sources of inspiration, for this work as well as for previous and upcoming projects.

The event will be held in English and it is kindly supported by Institut Français, Tel Aviv, and the Fondation Jacqueline de Romilly under the auspices of the Fondation de France. Chourouk Hriech’s stay in Tel Aviv is supported by Artport’s residency program.
