Led by artist and CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Office Manager Guy Bernard Reichmann, alongside artists and Content Managers Mona Benyamin and Esraa Abed, “out-of-office” is a series of events to be presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “o-o-o” was conceived as a way to nurture the domestic scene.

Conceived as part of this series by curator Meital Aviram, “LOVES & LIES” is a screening of videos by Armando Andrade Tudela, Mona Benyamin, May Elimelech, Danna Grace Windsor, Amit Levinger, and Jonathan Omer Mizrahi. The works presented in “LOVE & LIES” take us to seemingly familiar places with rough aesthetics. All the videos featured in the screening are filmed in locations that seem to be sets of low-budget drama series; such common aspect reveals a universe in which the mundane turns into a fantasy and a longing for “simpler times” when everything that was once seen as a distant dream has become a matter of fact.

The sequence of videos will be screened twice.
