Initiated by Guy Bernard Reichmann and led by CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo Operations Manager Amy Sapan, alongside Content and Press Manager Shahar Mizrahi, “out-of-office” is a series of events presented in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery. Focused on time-based practices such as video, dance, and performance, and in line with the multidisciplinary mission of the Center, “out-of-office” was conceived to nurture the domestic creative scene.
The performance by Ami Shalev and Yotam Coman – aka Dex and Coman – will be divided into two sessions: Black and White. In the Black session, presented on October 30, Yom Hadin, alongside Eitan Radoshinsky and Haggai Fershtman, will create a space for redemption by excreting musical atrocities and dramatic sins. This session represents destruction – the ruins, the burning, and the ashes. In the White session, on November 6, Jazz and Classical Elevator Music will accompany the audience toward a higher state, replacing apocalyptic religious and political redemption with musical salvation, letting consonant melodies and perfect geometric shapes ascend. The performance features contributions by Eitan Radoshinsky, Haggai Fershtman, Ami Shalev, and Yotam Coman, and special guest performers.
Doors open at 7:00pm and close at 7:30pm
