Join us for CLOSER, a special listening event of a new sound work by Gilad Ratman. Participants to the event lie on mattresses in a dark gallery, listening with headphones. They wander through sound that ranges from meditative to psychedelic. CLOSER is a structured medley, an imaginary soundtrack for a sequence of staged events that include conversations, spells, language tests and vocal segments. The event is part of the public programming for the exhibition “Gilad Ratman: Plecos,” currently on view across both floors of the Center. The exhibition will be open for viewing before the event.
