Please join us for a tour of “Marion Baruch: Bomba,” currently on view at CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo; led by the Center’s Director and Curator Nicola Trezzi, the tour will give an overview of Baruch’s versatile practice, spanning over seven decades. During a life journey that took her from Romania to Israel – where she had her first solo exhibition at Micra Studio in Tel Aviv in 1953 –, from Israel to France and finally to Italy, Baruch created a visual and conceptual vocabulary that is all her own yet undeniably universal. The tour will focus on performative works originally created in Italy in the late 1960s and early 1970s and displayed in the Marc Schimmel Multipurpose Gallery.
The event will be held in Italian and it is part of a joint collaboration between CCA Tel Aviv-Yafo and Istituto Italiano di Cultura, which is the main supporter of “Marion Baruch: Bomba.”
