Raffaella Frascarelli on Institutional Nomadism
Thursday, October 11, at 8 pm
On the occasion of the 14th edition of Giornata del Contemporaneo – Italian Contemporary Art, an annual event organized by AMACI, this year for the first time organized internationally, CCA Tel Aviv will host Raffaella Frascarelli, Nomas Foundation President and Scientific Director.
Frascarelli will present the mission of Nomas Foundation and its commitment to Italian art – focusing on projects developed for Nomas by artists Valerio Rocco Orlando, Giorgio Andreotta Calò, and Rossella Biscotti. Frascarelli will also speak about three “study cases” highlighting several institutional collaborations: “KizArt. Video Art for children,” part of Digitalife 2017 (a co-production Fondazione Romaeuropa, Azienda Speciale Palaexpo), “Sreshta Rit Premnath: Cadere/Rose” (in collaboration with ALAgroup) and “Dan Rees, Road Back to Relevance.”
The event will be held in English and is supported by Istituto Italiano di Cultura Tel Aviv.
