“Loop” are customised workshops intended to widen and enrich the curriculum followed in elementary and high schools in Israel, that include focus topics such as: civic life, identity and gender, tradition and innovation, “internal reality,” society, art and culture. These programs are tailored to suit a wide variety of ages by using visual material and new media as a basis for discussion and inspiration. The works are designed to engender critical and analytic thinking, and an understanding of the language and the history of art.
“Loop” workshops, which take place both at the CCA and at schools throughout Israel, use video compilations curated by CCA curators and education staff from our extensive video archive that consists of over 4000 historical and contemporary titles by some of the leading artists from Israel and abroad. Sessions last for an hour and a quarter and are led by experienced teaching artists.
It is possible to coordinate guided tours of current exhibition with a workshop at the CCA, or to invite us to your school. Please contact us for more information: firstname.lastname@example.org
