Hope Machine

"The work is based on 'dream behavior and progression.' There is no real time structuring in the work. The time principle that guides me here falters between "big time" (historical time that blurs the borders between the concepts past, present and future), and "congealed time" (a sort of dream duration or state of being). 'Hope Machine' functions as a dream arena that lacks something. Its logic is that of a dream, which clad in mystery the structuring that takes place between the projected figures and myself." (UK) H.M. comprises DVD screening, lighting, sound, singing and movement on a mobile board (robot).
